What is your season? We open May 15th and close October 15th. | |
What amenities do you have on site? We have a super hot tub, store, laundry, and, of course, our Jeep rentals and tours. Also everything in Silverton is within walking distance, shopping, restaurants, historical walking tours, etc. | |
What is there to do around Silverton? Jeeping. Hiking. Fishing. The Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. Sitting in the hot tub. Taking the historical walking tour. The Old Hundred Mine Tour. The Mayflower Mill Tour. The gunfight presented by the Silverton Gunfighters. Shopping. Eating at the numerous restaurants in Silverton. Just enjoying the clean mountain air. Can I stay with you and ride the Train? Yes. You can get a ticket from Silverton to Durango on the Train and return by special train bus to Silverton. Most people find that a one way trip on the Train is sufficient and they enjoy returning on the bus. | |
What are your ratings? We are rated Trailer Life (Good Sam) 6/9/8. We are AAA approved and are recommended by Colorado Association of Campgrounds and Woodall's. | |
Do you have tent spaces? Due to the difficulty of maintaining a lawn at this altitude, tents are not allowed on the grass. They can be set up on the drive. You will need an air mattress. | |
What are your rates? Nightly rates are $31 for 2 people plus an additional $3.00 for electric. Full hook-ups (water, sewer, electric, cable TV, and WiFi) are available at all sites. Additional persons over age 12 are $3 per night and those ages 2-12 are $1.50 per night. State and local tax is 9%. | |
Do you allow pets? Yes. Please keep your pets on a leash and please clean up after your pets or take them for a walk in the open space surrounding the park. Pets should not be left unattended. | |
What are check-in and check-out times? Check-in is at 2:00 p.m. and check-out is at 11:00 a.m. If needed, we can usually be flexible if you give us notice. | |

What is your cancellation policy? A one night deposit will be charged at the time of booking. Should you choose to cancel or shorten your reservation a week or more before your scheduled arrival, we will refund the deposit less a $15 handling fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations or alterations inside one week. |
